The 2o20 schedule will not be up until we get closer to the event.  For an idea of what to expect see what we did in 2019:

 

2019 Sedona Mountain Bike Festival Schedule

 

2019 – Thursday, February 28th

11 am – Registration and packet pick up open from 11 am – 6 pm at Over The Edge Sports.

2 – 6 pm – VIDA packet pickup and registration at Over The Edge Sports.

 

Friday, March 1st

9 am – Registration open.

9:30 am – 6 pm – Flat Tire Defender’s special event pricing and money back guarantee test ride at the event. Bring your wheels to the FTD Support Vehicle for free installation.

9:30 – 10:30 am –  VIDA MTB Series hosts a FREE yoga session, presented by Shredly. All participants will receive something special from Shredly! Meet at the Main Stage.

10 am – First shuttle leaves.

10 am – Rocky Mountain Bicycles ride with Sam Schultz and Jeremy David, 1-  2 hours. Meet at the Rocky Mountain Bicycles Booth.

10 am – Stop by the Box Component booth to sign-up to win raffle prizes. Put your name on the list for Sunday’s group ride.

10 am – Group ride hosted by Transition Bikes and led by Angi Weston and Skye Schillhammer. All skill levels welcome. Central Sedona trails, 1.5 – 2 hours. Meet at the Transition booth.

10:30 am – Group ride hosted by Orbea and Tess from Dusty Betty. For ladies and guys too, all skill levels welcome. Meet at the Orbea booth.

10:30 am – Group Ride hosted by Kona and led by Molly Joyce.  Intermediate to advanced ride 3 – 3 hours.  Meet at the Kona booth.

11 am – Drop Your Shorts at ZOIC for our 25th Anniversary! Trade-up to brand new Ether or Navaeh bike shorts for just $25, regularly $65 – $75, when you drop the shorts you are wearing! PLUS we’ll give $5 from each pair to the Red Rock Trail Fund. This is limited to 10 people.

11 am – SRAM Women’s Tech Clinic. (Sign up here – free.) Come learn the ins and outs of how to set up your suspension to get the most out of your bike. Meet at the SRAM tent before the event start time. Please do not bring your bike; this is a demo.

12 pm – Trail Boss Ride from Reeb Tent with the Jeff Lenosky. Sign up in advance https://trailboss.bike/register.

12pm -Group ride with Sedona local Simon Bosman. Very advanced skill level. 3-3.5 hour ride, group will be limited to ten people. Please no demo bikes. Ride will meet at the ZOIC tent.

1 pm – VIDA ladies social group ride, open to all festival attendees. Meet at VIDA booth.

1pm – Group ride hosted by Transition Bikes and led by Angi Weston and Skye Schillhammer. Advanced skill level, 3 – 4 hours. Meet at the Transition booth.

1 pm – Beer garden opens, sponsored by 10 Barrel Brewing.

1:30 – 3:30 pm – VeloValo on the Main Stage.

1:30 pm – Group Ride hosted by ZOIC led by Factory Pivot Rider Rob Drew. Intermediate to advanced level ride. 1 – 1.5 hours. Meet at the ZOIC booth.

2 pm – SRAM Women’s Tech Clinic. (Sign up here – free.)  Come learn how to set up your suspension on the trail. We will be riding during this clinic so come prepared to ride with your: bike, helmet, water, snacks, flat kit, etc. Meet at SRAM tent at 1:45 before the clinic.

2 pm  – Ride with the Rangers. Here is your chance to ride with a real life Forest Service Ranger on an intermediate ride from the venue. Meet at the Forest Service booth.

3 pm – Last shuttle departs.

3 pm – E-MTB Shimano Steps, 1-hour, all levels group ride led by legendary MTB Hall of Famer Hans Rey and freestyle Redbull athlete Aaron Chase. Meet at Shimano Booth.

3 pm – Meet Yeti-Fox Factory Rider Richie Rude and learn why he races EWS on CushCore. CushCore will also be offering special event pricing and free installation all weekend.

4 – 6 pm – The Stratmores on the Main Stage.

4 – 6 pm – VIDA tech Clinic with Squish Dynamics at the VIDA booth.

4 – 6 pm – Group ride hosted by Troy Lee Designs and led by MTB Hall of Fame inductee Leigh Donovan. Intermediate level ride. Meet at Troy Lee Designs booth. Demo Stage Helmets available for ride.

5 pm – Last return shuttle back to the the expo area.

5:30 pm – TASCO footdown competition with last year’s winner Jeff Lenosky in attendance. Followed by Happy Hour after party featuring Dough Broughs Pizza. Join TASCO for a few laughs as we close down Day 1 of the 2019 Sedona Mountain Bike Festival!

6 pm – Industry Nine Night Ride Meet at the I9 booth. Easy, mellow ride up Soldiers Pass and down Adobe Jack to the trail head. Extra credit options after if willing. Industry Nine will NOT provide lights. All levels ride, no drop with sweepers. Will finish back at the Industry Nine booth.

7 pm – Expo is closed and all cars need to be off parking fields.

 

2019- Saturday, March 2nd

9 am – Registration open.

10 am – Shimano XTR Priority 1-hour, intermediate group ride with Trail Boss video star Jeff Lenosky and Olympic athlete Sam Shultz. Demo new 12-speed XTR! Reservations recommended. Visit Shimano booth prior to ride to reserve an XTR demo bike and a spot in the ride. Group cap of 20. XTR demo bike not required to join the ride. Shuttle to local favorite Brewer Trail. Meet at Shimano booth. XTR swag to all participants.

10 am – Beginner level group ride hosted by LIV CYCLING and led by Ladies AllRide Coach & Events Manager Agnes Rodriguez. The group will ride on Central Sedona trails with stops and re-groups. About 1.5 hours at mellow pace. Meet at the Liv Cycling Booth. Come early if you want to demo a sweet Liv bike. Swag bags for all participants!

10 am – Absolute Bikes group ride leaving from the shuttle area, ending Absolute Bikes with lunch provided. Then a second ride back at 2 pm on Hiline after lunch, or take the shuttle back to the event. Aaron Chase, Pivot Cycles pro rider, will lead the charge.

11am – Group Ride hosted by ZOIC, led by Factory Pivot Rider Rob Drew. Intermediate to advanced level ride. 1 – 1.5 hours. Meet at the ZOIC booth.

12 pm – Intermediate ride with Eric Porter and Seth’s Bike Hacks. Meet at the Diamondback booth and plan to ride from there.

1 pm – Beer garden opens, sponsored by 10 Barrel Brewing.

1:30 – 3:30 pm – Blammity Blam on the Main Stage.

2 pm – Ride with the Rangers. Here is your chance to ride with a real life Forest Service Ranger on an intermediate ride from the venue. Meet at the Forest Service booth.

3:30 pm – ZOIC’s Revenge of the Nerds Tricycle Race! Pedal hard for pride and prizes! Register your team at the ZOIC Booth.

4 pm – Bunny Hop Contest – How high can you bunny hop? Find out in our all-levels all-good bunny hop contest! Sign up for free at the Ryan Leech Connection Skills Coaching Truck Camper in the Expo. The contest will feature a bunny hop demo and clinic by Ryan Leech and Jeff Lenosky. We’ll offer some sweet prizes not only for the highest hopper, but also for categories like best effort, most style, oldest and the youngest contestant.

4 pm – ZOIC 25th Anniversary Party. Join us after the Revenge of the Nerds Tricycle Race as we celebrate 25 years of mountain bike life with cake and beer. FREE Limited Edition 25th Anniversary trucker hats to the first 25 people wearing ZOIC.

4 – 6 pm – Decker on the Main Stage.

4 – 6 pm – Can’d Aid Foundation is teaming up with Three Time National Champion and World Record Holder Jeff Lenosky and our friends at REEB Cycles to build and donate bikes to an entire class of deserving first graders at West Sedona Elementary, and WE NEED YOUR HELP! For many students, this will be their very first bicycle.

The build will take place during the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival at the REEB Tent on Saturday, March 2nd from 4 – 6 pm. We’ll supply the tools; just come ready to jump in and help turn some wrenches! No previous bike building experience necessary. Children welcome!

5 pm – Last return shuttle back to the the expo area.

6pm – Group ride with Sedona local Simon Bosman. Intermediate to  advanced skill level. 3 hour ride, group will be limited to ten people. Demo night riding lights provided by Outbound Lighting, or bring your own. Night riding lights are required for this ride. Ride will meet at the ZOIC tent.

7 pm – 10 pm – After party at the Sedona Hub (next to the skate park) hosted by Bike Magazine and Ten Barrel Beer. FREE with your festival pass, or a $10 at the door donation to the Red Rock Trail Fund.  Pizza Truck, and music by DJ Teddy Huxtable. More information here.

7 pm – Main expo area is closed. Everyone is encouraged to stay for the after party at the park.

10 pm – All cars need to be off parking fields.

10 pm – Still haven’t had enough? After after party at the Olde Sedona Bar and Grill.

1 pm – BYOB (bring your own bike) ride with Sam Schultz and happy hour drinks after. 1 – 2 hours. Meet at the Rocky Mountain Bicycles booth.
