Ability Levels

Beginner: This clinic is ALL about fun. Our mini shredders should be comfortable pedaling a bike on both pavement and dirt, using both breaks effectively, and shifting. This group will need a small level of fitness and will be asked to pedal up hills and push their bikes when terrain gets rough. Safety is always first and no rider will ever be asked to do anything they are uncomfortable with. This group will learn a toolkit of skills to help them navigate confidently off road as well as trail etiquette, environmental stewardship and much more.

Intermediate: Does your little shredder love single track? Intermediate riders should be proficient in using both front and rear brake, shifting efficiently, and descending out of the saddle with parallel pedals on off-pavement settings. Riders should have a moderate level of fitness and will be expected to ride a combination of dirt singletrack, slick rock, uneven surfaces and climb/decent moderate hills.

Advanced: This group has been around the block. Our advanced group will be all shredders who can confidently navigate intermediate trails in Sedona. Segments of advanced trails will be explored but may be a challenge to some of these riders. Our intermediate/advanced trail selections will primarily be located in the Adobe Jack trail system.
