Specialized Soil Searching Public Volunteer Trail Work Event
Give back to the trails you love! Join the Forest Service with armoring and rock projects on Pigtail and Hog Heaven, soil work on Pigtail's jump line, and armoring/tread work on Submarine Rock.

Cross-country tour of the Gateway trails for up to 10 riders at a relatively brisk pace with some climbing. We will stop at intersections to regroup, but the agenda is to keep the train rolling while experiencing the flow in Sedona. A 30-35 mile ride of intermediate and expert trails with some exposure. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent Make sure to pack water, food, ect.

Meet at the Norco booth and depart @ 10:15. Intermediate to advanced ride through Central Sedona Trails for 1.5 to 2h.
10 am Ride with a Local: Women's Ride!
This is a ride for women who want a good introduction to Sedona trails in a non-competitive environment! We will be riding about 8 miles of intermediate (blue) and advanced (black) trails in the nearby Adobe Jack trail system. Fun, flowy, and challenging downhills are followed by intermediate climbs. There will be some tech to session as well! The ride leader, Pam, has lived here for 9 years and has been actively involved with trail planning, construction, and maintenance. She'll talk about our amazing trail system and throw in a little local biology and geology as well. This ride will be at a chill pace of about 2.5 hours. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent @ 10 am, limit 6 women.
10 am Into the Vortex: Intermediate Ride with Giant Ambassadors MTBAlan, Devin DeBruhl, and Liv Ladies
Meet at the Giant booth at least 10 minutes before the ride to reserve your spot. The ride will approximately be 1.5 hours. Post-ride swag to a few lucky riders!
10 am Transition Bikes Group Ride led by TR Staff and Athletes
Central Sedona trails, intermediate, 1.5 – 2 hours. Meet @ Transition booth at least 10 minutes before ride time. TR group rides will be led by the fabulous Angi Weston, Transition Factory Athlete Marco Osborne, Transition Founder Kevin Menard, and surprise guests throughout the weekend!
10 am Find Your Rhythm Ride Volume Led by SMITH athlete Braydon Bringhurst
Join SMITH on their now annual group ride! Meet 10 minutes before the ride at the SMITH booth. This will be a beginner/ intermediate ride around 1.5-2 hours with Braydon sharing some trail tips and helping you hone your skills.
11 am SHIMANO Women's only MTB ride. Led by Olympic medalist and multi-time World Champion Jill Kintner, Pivot Cycles Enduro racer Stefanie McDaniel and Ride MTB's April Zastrow
Ride from the venue on a fun route with the Shimano lady ride leaders! Visit Shimano booth asap to reserve your spot. Spots will be limited. Meet at Shimano booth approx. 10 min before the ride starts and be ready to roll at 11:00 AM. Shimano swag to all participants + one lucky rider will snag a new Lazer Trail Helmet! Join former Sedona local, Chad Davis, for an insider tour of some of the best trails and views in town! Mostly Carroll Canyon 2-hour strong intermediate to advance.
12 pm Trailside Repair Clinic with Liv Pro Mechanic Paige Stuart
Learn key trailside repairs ranging from plugging tires, fixing chains, brakes, and dropper posts on the go in this 40-minute session.
12 pm – 5 pm Come by the Adidas Five Ten booth for 3 /// days of New Belgium beer!

Roll through from 1 pm – 4 pm and see how you stack up! The top 5 times are announced daily on the Main Stage. This is a race for bragging rights only. Entry is free, but you must have a Festival Pass to participate.

2 pm FUNdamental Skills & Drills Jump Workshop with athletes, Ryan Rodriguez, Celia Ferguson, Drew Palmer-Leger, & Jackie Reseigne
Tips, tricks, and body positioning to fine tune your riding skills in the park. This workshop will include photographing action shots of you! Take home a souvenir of you riding your bike or your favorite Propain Bike. All genders, all skills welcome. Sign up at the Propain booth to reserve your spot. First Come, First Serve, limited to 12 riders. Meet at the Propain booth @ 1:45pm.

The coaching panel will be composed of industry-leading coaches such as Angi Westin, Jeff Lenosky, Diana Allen, Angelo Wash, and more! Come learn from the best at the event mainstage during the Sedona MTB Festival!
4 pm WHIP-OFF!!!
Come show your stylish whips or watch and bring heckle zone supplies for a CASH PRIZE via tips for whips, and support VVCC mountain bike advocacy at the Dual Slalom.
4 pm Women's Mountain Bike Network Clinic
Join us for an afternoon bike clinic at the Revel booth! Mechanics and Engineers will discuss the differences between 3 different bikes, and how each rides in Sedona terrain based on their geometry, travel, etc. Drinks and raffle included!
4 pm – 6 pm Ryan Chrys and the Rough Cuts on the Main Stage
4 pm – 6 pm Party in the Woods (errrrr…. Vortex!) with Transition Bikes
Meet the Transition crew, enjoy a TR Blue Lagoon cocktail (or beer or NA bevvy), and have a go at the PBJ Drag Race, which won’t be a drag, it’s much COOLER. Everyone is invited to test their dragging skills in the competition. Prizes will be awarded, including a brand new Transition PBJ complete bike! Sign up in advance at the TR booth.

Stop by during the day to sign up for the ride or reserve a set of Demo lights, meet at the Outbound Lighting booth to get set up at least 10 minutes before 6 pm. The Continental Crew will lead a mellow pace ride around Adobe Jack and/or Grand Central. All levels ride, no drop with sweepers, aka Party Pace that will finish back at the Industry Nine booth for complimentary beverages.

A night of film celebrating some of the leading cinematography and storytelling in mountain biking. Freehub PRESENTS is a collection of films from some of the best in the business and new up-and-comers alike, all given the proper big-screen experience. Join Sedona local, Cameron Wylde, for some of Sedona's most scenic and fun singletrack. Trails will include Girdner, Outer Limits, and Skywalker. Expect mostly fast intermediate trails, with some tech and brief exposure. This loop is about 20 miles, with approximately 1,700 feet of climbing. As is typical for Sedona, climbing is often punchy, so this is a physically demanding ride. We will need to maintain a steady pace to complete the full loop. Plan for about 3 hours of moving time, and pack plenty of water and snacks. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tenant at least 10 minutes before ride time. Limited to 10 riders.

Local ride leaders, Rachel Fussell, PeopleForBikes, and Tracy Randall, VVCC, President, know the Carroll Canyon well, as it’s in their backyards. The ride will cover about 11 miles with roughly 1k ft. climbing. Plan for 2 – 3 hours, no drop, and with techie sessioning along the way. Rachel and Tracy will share recommendations for other routes in the area and they’ll share a bit about their biking-related organizations. Here’s the planned route. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent @ 10:30am, limit 10 Advanced/Intermediate women.

2 pm Shimano Priority Shuttle MTB Ride – Led by Trail Boss YouTube star Jeff Lenosky, content creator and wheelie king Jeff Kendall-Weed, and everyone's favorite shredder Bryn Atkinson!
Start this ride with a shuttle to Carol Canyon, then get ready to roll through the Scheurman MTN trailhead – Scorpion, Pyramid – Chavez Ranch Road – Ridge trail – Sketch – Ridge trail - and end with a short road spin back to the venue. You must sign up before the ride to guarantee a seat on the shuttle. Visit the Shimano booth to reserve your spot on the ride. Special Shimano swag to all participants + 1 Lazer trail helmet will be given out at the end of the ride to one lucky recipient. Meet at the Shimano booth at least 10 minutes before ride time to get checked in. Approx. 2 hours - Intermediate + with several advanced sections. Not a beginner ride.

A free keg is provided from the festival with fresh music, rowdy crowds, over-the-top hosts, and even our own SMBA judging panel. It's an event you don't want to miss. Must have a pass to participate.

Freehub and The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival are excited to host a night of revelry celebrating Freehub's 15th anniversary, and the Sedona MTB Festival’s 10th. Join us at the Stagecoach Sedona for an evening of friends, drinks, music, and a ride on the in-house mechanical bull! The official Sedona Mountain Bike Festival Afterparty kicks off at 9:30 pm and will be rocking until close. Cap off your Saturday night right with us at the Stagecoach!

Come experience Shimano's Autoshift and Freeshift EP801 drive unit with Linkglide. Led by Olympic medalist and multi-time World Champion, Jill Kintner, and Pivot Cycles Enduro racer, Stefanie McDaniel, and everyone's favorite shredder, Bryn Atkinson. You must have a Festival Pass to participate and visit the Shimano booth asap to sign up and reserve your demo E-bike. Arrive at least 10 minutes before the ride time to get set up. Special Shimano swag to all participants + one lucky rider will snag a new Lazer Trail Helmet! 1-1.5 Hour Ride - All levels. Note: Shimano demo E-Bikes are only available during group-led rides.

10 am Ride with a Local + Learn About Trail Building!
Lars Romig, Sedona Native, VVCC Board Member and Chair of MTB Advocacy, will be leading a group ride out to do a loop around Thunder Mountain and Andante. Lars will detail and showcase trail work in the area as well as how to ride trail features more sustainably. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent at least 10 minutes before ride time.
10 am Into the Vortex: Intermediate Ride with Giant Ambassadors MTBAlan, Devin DeBruhl, and Liv Ladies
Meet at the Giant booth at least 10 minutes before the ride to reserve your spot. The ride will approximately be 1.5 hours. Post-ride swag to a few lucky riders!
10 am HRBO Ladies Group Ride
Meet at the Trail Manos tent - this is an intermediate ride.
10 am MTB Skills Clinic led by Coaches Joanna Yates & Angelo Wash
Learn how to ride drops & steep rock rolls with ease and control! Check in at the Dharco booth.
10:15 am Women's Fix A Flat Clinic
Join SMBA instructor Amaryth Gass for this fun and informative free event! Learn some basic mechanical skills, mingle with other like-minded ladies, and enjoy some of the best donuts in town from Sedonuts! Meet up at the SMBA booth.
10:15 am #NoOrdinaryRide led by Joanna Yates & Ambassador Angelo Wash
Meet at the Dharco booth to have the most fun with this Intermediate, 2-Hour Ride.
10:30 am – 1pm Sunday Brunch and Brews @ Adidas Five Ten Booth
Start with donuts, bacon, and coffee followed by their Raffle drawing at 11:30 am. Then join the group ride at 12 pm to demo the new Trail Cross LT and return to sip the featured New Belgium Grapefruit Paloma.
11 am Ladies Ride with Women's MTB Network and Flagstaff Lady Shredders
Meet at the SMBA booth. Intermediate riders and above are welcome to attend as this crew will be riding in the Soldier Pass Trail Network.
11 am Ride with GULO Composites
Join former Sedona local, Chad Davis, for an insider tour of some of the best trails and views in town! Mostly Carroll Canyon 2-hour strong intermediate to advance.
12 pm – 1 pm Airbag Jump!
Join Rocket Ramps daily to test your skills on an Airbag Jump! Located in the Sedona Bike Park, just south of the pump track. Must have a Festival Pass to participate, must listen to a safety talk, and sign a waiver.
1 pm Beer Garden Opens!
