Philanthropy
The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival is proud to team up with local organizations dedicated to maintaining and improving Sedona’s trails and riding experiences. By attending the Festival and purchasing a Pass, you’re directly supporting these efforts and helping keep Sedona’s trails world-class. We encourage you to learn more about the important work these groups do, and if you’re feeling generous, consider making a donation to support them further.
Wheel Fun
We are always excited to partner with Wheel Fun, an Arizona-based youth cycling non-profit that has made a serious impact on our local community. With your donations and Wheel Fun’s resonating mission, we aim to get more kids on bikes!
Wheel Fun provides free after-school bike clubs, mountain bikes, and gear to public schools and underserved students in Arizona. Their mission is to create a community through bikes for ALL riders. Wheel Fun provides a unique opportunity to students who do not have access to a bike at home. Watching the impact of this program on our students’ physical and mental health is nothing short of transformative. Some highlights of Wheel Fun's programming:
- Over 500 students get to ride because of Wheel Fun
- 20 after-school bike clubs established
- 2 bike parks have been built on public school campuses, with a third on the way
- Wheel Fun was awarded the “Out Of School Time Program Award of Excellence” (October 2022) as the top after-school program in all of Arizona
