Saturday SHIMANO E‑MTB Group Ride

Experience the cutting edge of e-mountain biking with Shimano’s Autoshift and Freeshift EP801 E‑bike system. Ride with Olympic medalist Jill Kintner and shred legend Bryn Atkinson. This is all-level, no-drop 1.5‑hour ride feature moderate to challenging terrain.

• Requirements: Festival Pass required – visit the Shimano booth to sign up and reserve your demo E‑bike
• Meeting Point: Shimano booth. Arrive 20 minutes early for setup
• Perks: Exclusive Shimano swag for all, plus a chance to snag a new Lazer Trail Helmet
• Spots: Limited – sign-up onsite only. Outside e-bikes are welcome to join ride, but be sure to let us know prior to the ride.

Ride Hardline with Rider/Builder Lars Romig

Come join Rider/Builder Lars Romig @mountainmingo with Absolute Bikes and Specialized to enjoy Sedona’s long-awaited new Hardline trail. This trail is not for the faint of heart or unsure riders; you should have the other three H’s on lock and feel confident tackling them. We will head out to experience the new trail in a short but intense ride, starting on the iconic Hiline trail via Yavapai Vista. We will ride much of Hiline before departing onto Hardline halfway through. 

We’ll take some time to discuss the trail work needed to make Hardline a reality, as well as talk about line selection into the crux moves.

Join us for a group ride hosted by Transition Bikes and led by Angi Weston. Angi is the owner and head coach of Radical Roots MTB Instruction and known for bringing fun to her group rides and workshops. All skill levels are welcome. The ride will take place on the Central Sedona trails and will last about 1.5 to 2 hours. Meeting Point: Transition booth

Group Ride with Yoann Barelli

Get ready to level up your skills and have a blast on this epic, intermediate group ride! Meet up at the Industry Nine tent at least 10 min prior to ride time. 

The Club Ride 30

All participants will get a free pair of Club Ride socks and one full kit ( shirt, pants and socks) will be raffled off amongst the participants who complete the ride. Cross-country tour of the Gateway trails with locals Mike Coyne and Jan Schmidt. This is a strenuous 30 mile ride with about 3000 ft of climbing. The pace will be relatively brisk. We will stop at intersections to regroup, but the agenda is to keep the train rolling while experiencing the flow in Sedona. It will be a mix of intermediate and expert trails with some exposure. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent 10 -15 minutes before take off. Make sure to pack plenty of water, food and supplies to be out for 4+ hours. Limit 10 riders.

Ride with the MOB

Come ride with YT MOB athletes Anthony Napolitan and Dakoda Osusky. Intermediate level ride, meet at the YT booth 10 minutes before.

Co-ed ride with WMTBN, Dirty Therapy, and Jess the Maker, sponsored by Club Ride

We will start at the WMTBN Booth and end at the Club Ride booth for happy hour, and raffle.

Ride with a Sedona Local - Arturo Sald

Group Ride. Meet at the Trail Manos tent – this is an intermediate ride / Arturo Sald - Conduzca con un guia local de Sedona. Nos vemos en la tienda Trail Manos – este es una montada intermedia.

Ari Bikes Dual Slalom Track Jam with Kyle Strait

Learn cornering, pumping, and jumping techniques from freeride legend and master track builder Kyle Strait during a slalom track jam session.  Meet at the Ari bikes tent 10 minutes prior. 1.5 hours.

Ride with a Local, Women's Ride

Local riders, Marcella and Tracy will take you on a ride through the beautifully quiet Carrol Canyon. Plan for 2 – 3 hours, no drop, and with techie sessioning along the way. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent near the Main Stage @ 10:45am, limit 10 Advanced / Intermediate women.

Ride with a Ranger!

Your chance to ride with a real Forest Service Ranger! Meet at the Forest Service booth at least 10 minutes before ride time for a fun, Intermediate ride for 1.5-2 hours close to the event venue.

Group Ride with Marco Osborne

Join us for a group ride hosted by Transition Bikes and led by Marco Osborne. Get ready to learn some tips and tricks from Marco (as in "Send it, Randy") a legendary Enduro racer and party animal. All skill levels are welcome. The ride will take place on the Central Sedona trails and will last about 1.5 to 2 hours. Meeting Point: Transition booth

Group Ride – Ride with Local Legend Rob Drew and his surprise friends! 

Meet at the Trail Manos tent – this is an intermediate ride.

Women’s Entrepreneur panel hosted by Mia de Paula (Founder Women’s MTB Network) and Jess Hana (Jess the Maker)

You must have a Festival Pass to participate and visit the Shimano booth asap to sign up and reserve your demo E-bike. Arrive at least 10 minutes before the ride time to get set up. Special Shimano swag to all participants + One lucky rider will snag a new Lazer Trail Helmet! 1-1.5 Hour Ride - All levels. Note: Shimano demo E-Bikes are only available during group-led rides.

Saturday 2:00 PM – Shimano “Priority” Shuttle MTB Ride

Embark on an exciting ride at Carol Canyon led by “Trail Boss” YouTube star Jeff Lenosky, and everyone’s favorite shredder Bryn Atkinson. This intermediate+ ride features several advanced sections and is not for beginners.

• Route: Shuttle from Sedona Festival to Scheurman MTN trailhead, then ride through Scorpion, Pyramid, Chavez Ranch Road, Ridge trail, Sketch, back along Ridge trail and a short road spin to the venue.
• Sign-Up: Must register prior to the ride to guarantee a seat on the shuttle. Visit the Shimano booth to reserve your spot.
• Meeting Point: Shimano booth – arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. We board the VIP shuttle at 2:00 PM and ride back as a group after the ride.
• Perks: All participants receive exclusive Shimano swag, plus one lucky rider will win a brand new Lazer Trail Helmet.

The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival’s Track Stand Contest, powered by Outdoor Research and Jenson USA! 

Rendezvous at the OR booth to watch riders go head-to-head to see who can hold a perfect track stand the longest—no feet on the ground allowed! With awesome prizes from both brands and plenty of good vibes, it's all about technique, patience, and a little bit of luck.

Suspension Setup Deep Dive - 2:00 PM @ Women's MTB Network Booth (After 1:00 PM Women's Panel)

Are you still riding the same suspension setup your bike came with because you don't really understand what all those dials are for (why are there so many dials anyway?)?  Join female mechanic Jen Sawyer as we dig deep into how your suspension actually works, and what all those settings mean.  We'll test out different settings on your bike so you can feel the difference, and make sure you leave with the settings are right for YOU.  Women/femme riders only, please!

The trail is shaped below the majestic Cathedral Rock by the USFS, various community organizations, and countless volunteers, including Specialized Ambassador Lars Romig, who dig, scrape, and carve out its path. Aptly named, Hardline is as exposed as it is stunning, designed to challenge even the most skilled riders.

This documentary goes beyond the physical labor with spades and saws, exploring the legal intricacies of trail creation. It highlights the coordination, bureaucracy, challenges, and triumphs of navigating the proper channels to build a trail destined draw worldwide attention!

Enter the competition by registering at the SMBA booth or join in the crowd to boogie down as we curate one of the biggest parties of the Sedona MTB Festival! A free keg is provided from the festival with fresh music, rowdy crowds, over-the-top hosts, and even our own SMBA judging panel. It's an event you don't want to miss. Johny, a Red Bull athlete and professional freerider, made history as the first Latin American to compete in the prestigious Red Bull Rampage.

Peter, a professional downhill racer, represents Pivot Cycles and has competed in numerous local events, including Red Bull Cerro Abajo Gto.

Free Your Mind - On the Main Stage

In this short film, Braydon Bringhurst embarks on his biggest ride yet. As a husband and father, Braydon typically tries to keep his rides short and local, but every so often, he seeks to really push his limits. Join us for an early screening of "Free Your Mind," a short film where Braydon takes on the stunning and varied terrain of the Post Canyon Trail System in Hood River, Oregon. With a goal of climbing 10,000 feet, he plans to enjoy every jump, flow trail, technical trail, and everything in between. This adventure film promises an adrenaline-packed showcase of riding mountain bikes and will be capped off with a fun challenge that Braydon will issue at the screening. We can't wait to see you there!

Freehub and The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival After Party!

Freehub and The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival are excited to host a night of revelry celebrating Freehub's 15th anniversary, and the Sedona MTB Festival’s 10th. Join us at the Stagecoach Sedona for an evening of friends, drinks, music, and a ride on the in-house mechanical bull! The official Sedona Mountain Bike Festival Afterparty kicks off at 9:30 pm and will be rocking until close. Cap off your Saturday night right with us at the Stagecoach!

Ride with a Local - Women's Ride

This is a ride for women who want to enjoy Sedona’s trails with long-time local riders, Pam and Jamie, in a non-competitive environment. We will be riding about 8 miles of intermediate (blue) and advanced (black) trails in the nearby Adobe Jack trail system. Fun, flowy, and challenging downhills are followed by intermediate climbs. This ride will be at a chill pace of about 2.5 hours. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent near the Main Stage @ 10 am, limit 6 women.

Women’s Fix A Flat Clinic

Join SMBA instructor Amaryth Gass for this fun and informative free event!  Learn some basic mechanical skills, mingle with other like minded ladies and enjoy some of the best donuts in town from Sedonuts!

Join SMBA instructors, Women’s MTB Network and the Flagstaff Lady Shredders for a social ride.  Intermediate riders and above are welcome to attend as this crew will be riding in the Soldier Pass Trail Network.

Tucson Women Shredders Ladies Group Ride led by Ride Leader Miriam

Meet at the Trail Manos tent – this is an intermediate all ladies ride.

Join Sedona locals, Maher Masri and Arturo Saldana, for Sedona's Scenic Singletrack

Trails will include Snake, Girdner, Chuck Wagon, Long Canyon, Deadman's pass and Mascall trails. Expect mostly intermediate trails, with some tech and brief exposure. This loop is about 12 miles, with approximately 1,200 feet of climbing. We will have several opportunities to session punchy technical climbs. Plan for about 2-3 hours of moving time, depending on number of riders and skill levels. Pack plenty of water and snacks. Meet at, or take the shuttle, to the Dry Creek shooting range. Limited to 10 riders.
