Ride with a Local

This ride is approximately 7 miles of intermediate (blue) and advanced (black) trails in the nearby Adobe Jack trail system, departing from and returning to the festival grounds. Trails will include both the technical and fun/flowy aspects of Sedona riding (trails include parts of Teacup, Jordan, and Grand Central). This ride will be at a moderate pace, but also allow time to session technical features. The route was designed with some climbing on the road to maximize descending on the trail, but there will definitely be some challenging trail climbing as well.  Pack water and snacks!  Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent in the Beer Garden at least 10 minutes before start time. Limit 10 riders.

Friday Women's Only MTB Ride

Join us for a fun-filled ride led by Olympic medalist and multi-time World Champion Jill Kintner alongside social media star April Zastrow! This all-level, no-drop 1.5‑hour ride features fun routes and expert trail tips from Jill.

Jeff Jackson Group Ride. Meet at the Trail Manos tent – this is an intermediate ride.

Ride with a local - Cameron Wylde

Join Sedona local, Cameron Wylde, for some of Sedona's most scenic and fun singletrack. Trails will include Girdner, Outer Limits, and Skywalker. Expect mostly fast intermediate trails, with some tech and brief exposure. This loop is about 20 miles, with approximately 1,700 feet of climbing. As is typical for Sedona, climbing is often punchy, so this is a physically demanding ride. We will need to maintain a steady pace to complete the full loop. Plan for about 3 hours of moving time, and pack plenty of water and snacks. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent by the Main Stage at least 10 minutes before ride time. Limited to 10 riders.

Hosted by Transition Bikes and led by Marco Osborne. Get ready to learn some tips and tricks from Marco (as in "Send it, Randy") a legendary Enduro racer and party animal. Your bike can take a beating on the Sedona Red Rock - is it ready? Join female mechanic Jen Sawyer from SHREDLY to learn critical trail-side repairs to get you back shredding after a crash or mechanical.  Bring your pack, because we'll also talk about all the things you need (and don't need) to carry on your ride.  Women/femme riders only, refreshments will be provided.

The Hard Line Premier - on the Main Stage (Run time 20min)

"The Hard Line" film delves into the monumental efforts behind creating Sedona’s next iconic mountain bike trail, Hardline. The trail is shaped below the majestic Cathedral Rock by the USFS, various community organizations, and countless volunteers, including Specialized Ambassador Lars Romig, who dig, scrape, and carve out its path. Aptly named, Hardline is as exposed as it is stunning, designed to challenge even the most skilled riders.

This documentary goes beyond the physical labor with spades and saws, exploring the legal intricacies of trail creation. It highlights the coordination, bureaucracy, challenges, and triumphs of navigating the proper channels to build a trail destined to draw worldwide attention!

Join Rider/Builder Lars Romig @mountainmingo with Absolute Bikes and Specialized to enjoy Sedona’s long-awaited new Hardline trail. This trail is not for the faint of heart or unsure riders; you should have the other three H’s on lock and feel confident tackling them. We will head out to experience the new trail in a short but intense ride, starting on the iconic Hiline trail via Yavapai Vista. We will ride much of Hiline before departing onto Hardline halfway through. 

We’ll take some time to discuss the trail work needed to make Hardline a reality, as well as talk about line selection into the crux moves. 

Expert skill required for this ride. ♦️♦️

The Club Ride 30

All participants will get a free pair of Club Ride socks and one full kit ( shirt, pants, and socks) will be raffled off amongst the participants who complete the ride. Cross-country tour of the Gateway trails with locals Mike Coyne and Jan Schmidt. This is a strenuous 30-mile ride with about 3000 ft of climbing. The pace will be relatively brisk. We will stop at intersections to regroup, but the agenda is to keep the train rolling while experiencing the flow in Sedona. It will be a mix of intermediate and expert trails with some exposure. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent 10 -15 minutes before take off. Make sure to pack plenty of water, food, and supplies to be out for 4+ hours. Limit 10 riders.

Trail Snacks with Abby the RD 

Meet up at the SHREDLY Boutique for a quick-fire round of nutrition questions with SHREDLY’s very own registered dietitian and ambassador, Abby Chan, MS, RDN. Abby specializes in working with athletes to help nourish and fuel the life that they love.

You will have 20 seconds to come up with a question, and Abby will answer it in <1 minute. If you ask a question, you can fill up your very own bag of snacks to fuel your day!

Shimano “Priority” Shuttle MTB Ride

Embark on an exciting ride at Carol Canyon led by “Trail Boss” YouTube star Jeff Lenosky, and everyone’s favorite shredder Bryn Atkinson. This intermediate+ ride features several advanced sections and is not for beginners.

  • Route: Shuttle from Sedona Festival to Scheurman MTN trailhead, then ride through Scorpion, Pyramid, Chavez Ranch Road, Ridge trail, Sketch, back along Ridge trail, and a short road spin to the venue.
  • Sign-Up: Must register prior to the ride to guarantee a seat on the shuttle. Visit the Shimano booth to reserve your spot.
  • Meeting Point: Shimano booth – arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. We board the VIP shuttle at 2:00 PM and ride back as a group after the ride.
  • Perks: All participants receive exclusive Shimano swag, plus one lucky rider will win a brand new Lazer Trail Helmet.

WTF (Women/Trans/Femme) Ride with Ibis Designers Cat and Lili

Intermediate No Drop Ride, 1.5-2 hours, with N/A happy hour post ride at the Ibis Booth.

Limited spots available! Sign up and meetup at the Ibis booth at least 10 min prior to ride time. Demo Bikes are available on a limited basis, all bike brands welcome on the ride!

All riders are welcome to join for a chill, no-drop ride. Meet at least 10 minutes before ride start at the Kenda booth. Happy hour with treats and swag afterward!

The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival’s Track Stand Contest, powered by Outdoor Research and Jenson USA! 

Rendezvous at the OR booth to watch riders go head-to-head to see who can hold a perfect track stand the longest—no feet on the ground allowed! With awesome prizes from both brands and plenty of good vibes, it's all about technique, patience, and a little bit of luck.

The trail is shaped below the majestic Cathedral Rock by the USFS, various community organizations, and countless volunteers, including Specialized Ambassador Lars Romig, who dig, scrape, and carve out its path. Aptly named, Hardline is as exposed as it is stunning, designed to challenge even the most skilled riders.

This documentary goes beyond the physical labor with spades and saws, exploring the legal intricacies of trail creation. It highlights the coordination, bureaucracy, challenges, and triumphs of navigating the proper channels to build a trail destined to draw worldwide attention!

In this short film, Braydon Bringhurst embarks on his biggest ride yet. As a husband and father, Braydon typically tries to keep his rides short and local, but every so often, he seeks to really push his limits. Join us for an early screening of "Free Your Mind," a short film where Braydon takes on the stunning and varied terrain of the Post Canyon Trail System in Hood River, Oregon. With a goal of climbing 10,000 feet, he plans to enjoy every jump, flow trail, technical trail, and everything in between. This adventure film promises an adrenaline-packed showcase of riding mountain bikes and will be capped off with a fun challenge that Braydon will issue at the screening. We can't wait to see you there!

Come join Rider/Builder Lars Romig @mountainmingo with Absolute Bikes and Specialized to enjoy Sedona’s long-awaited new Hardline trail. This trail is not for the faint of heart or unsure riders; you should have the other three H’s on lock and feel confident tackling them. We will head out to experience the new trail in a short but intense ride, starting on the iconic Hiline trail via Yavapai Vista. We will ride much of Hiline before departing onto Hardline halfway through. 

We’ll take some time to discuss the trail work needed to make Hardline a reality, as well as talk about line selection into the crux moves.

Ride with a Local - Women's Ride

This is a ride for women who want to enjoy Sedona’s trails with long-time local riders, Pam and Jamie, in a non-competitive environment. We will be riding about 8 miles of intermediate (blue) and advanced (black) trails in the nearby Adobe Jack trail system. Fun, flowy, and challenging downhills are followed by intermediate climbs. This ride will be at a chill pace of about 2.5 hours. Meet and sign in at the VVCC tent near the Main Stage @ 10 am, limit 6 women.

Experience the cutting edge of e-mountain biking with Shimano’s Autoshift and Freeshift EP801 E‑bike system. Ride with Olympic medalist Jill Kintner and shred legend Bryn Atkinson. This is all-level, no-drop 1.5‑hour ride that features moderate to challenging terrain.

  • Requirements: Festival Pass required – visit the Shimano booth to sign up and reserve your demo E‑bike

Join Sedona locals, Maher Masri and Arturo Saldana, for Sedona's Scenic Singletrack

Trails will include Snake, Girdner, Chuck Wagon, Long Canyon, Deadman's Pass and Mascall trails. Expect mostly intermediate trails, with some tech and brief exposure. This loop is about 12 miles, with approximately 1,200 feet of climbing. We will have several opportunities to session punchy technical climbs. Plan for about 2-3 hours of moving time, depending on number of riders and skill levels. Pack plenty of water and snacks. Meet at, or take the shuttle, to the Dry Creek shooting range. Limited to 10 riders.
